Full-Time Training - Testimonies

I am a few days away from graduating from the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA). My one thought again and again, resounding in my head is, “Thank you Lord for these two precious years in the Training.”

I came to the Training with the desire to know the Lord better, to know this Jesus Who was living inside of me and to know His Word. What I have received during these two years is beyond anything I could have asked for or thought. I'm leaving this training with a lot more of God inside of me! What I have received during these two years is not merely knowledge regarding the Lord and His Word or simply good practices for contacting the Lord. What I have been receiving day after day here is God Himself! Every day I experience a new and fresh portion of God Himself.

The FTTA is wonderfully designed to serve a person with Christ. The schedule, the classes, and the services all guide one into a genuine relationship with the Lord. There is nothing more precious than to know the Lord in a personal way and in an intimate way. What peace there is in being able to open myself completely to the Lord, to tell Him everything on my heart, all my desires, my fears, my doubts. What a comfort to realize He is always with me, always interceding for me and always able to meet my every need. And there is no greater joy than realizing that Christ is life in me--a life that is buoyant, overcoming, radiant, full of rest and peace.

My heart is full of praise and thankfulness to the Lord and to this training because these two years have brought me into a closer, deeper relationship with the Lord I love. I no longer merely know and contact the Lord in a general way. Rather I have come to know and love the Lord in so many different aspects, to know Him and experience Him in the details of Who He is. What a blessing! There is nothing in this earth that compares with such a treasure. It will take my whole life to develop and fully enjoy what I have received here in the Training! What a worthwhile investment!
